TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 (a) Adjustment of adjusting screw type nozzle. FRAME 1 1. 2. 3* 4. 5. 6. GO Unscrew connector tube (1) and take off nozzle and holder assembly (2). Put nozzle and holder assembly (2) in a soft-jawed vise. Hold locknut (3). Takeoff cap (4) and gasket (5). NOTE Turn adjusting screw (6) to the right to increase pres- sure, and to the left to decrease pressure. Opening pressure should be between 3050 to 3150 psi. Turn adjusting screw (6) to the right or to the left to increase or decrease pressure. Tighten locknut (3). Take nozzle and holder assembly (2) out of vise. Do nozzle opening pressure test. Refer to para 4-40a (1). Do steps 1 through 5 again until pressure is between 3050 to 3150 psi. If not, disassemble, clean and inspect, and repair nozzle. Refer to para 4-40b, c, an d.
