TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 4-40. FUEL INJECTOR NOZZLE AND HOLDER ASSEMBLIES. NOTE This task is shown for one fuel injector nozzle and holder assembly. This task should be done for all fuel injector nozzle and holder assemblies. a. Tests and Checks. (1) Nozzle WARNING The high fuel pressure used during these tests and checks can puncture the skin and cause blood poisoning and possible death. Keep hands away from nozzle. opening pressure test. FRAME 1 1. 2. 3. WARNING Carbon removing solvent is flammable. Do not use near an open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when solvent is used. Use only in well-ventilated places. Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel and damage to equipment. CAUTION Make sure no dirt gets in nozzle and holder assembly (1). Dirt can damage equipment. Using carbon removing solvent, clean nozzle area (2). Screw connector tube (3) into nozzle and holder assembly (1). Fill reservoir (4) with fuel. Close pressure valve gate (5). Pump handle (6) about 25 times or until air is cleared from nozzle an-d holder assembly (1). GO TO FRAME 2 4-394
