TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 (2) Inspection and repair. FRAME 1 1. Check that all threaded parts are not stripped, crossthreaded or damaged in any other way. Take out minor thread damage with thread chaser or tap. If more repair is needed, get a new part. 2. Check that four clamps (1) are not bent, dented or cracked. Take out minor bends or dents. If more repair is needed, get a new part. 3. Put on four tube clamps (1). 4. Check that three tubes (2, 3, and 4) are not cracked, brittle, split or damaged in any other way. If tube is damaged in any way, cut a new tube of the same length from plastic tube stock and get two new tube nuts (5). Slide two new tube nuts on tube and tape in place so tube nuts are not lost.
