TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 4-34. FUEL FILTER HOSES AND RELATED PARTS. a. Engine LDS-465-1. (1) Cleaning. FRAME 1 1. 2. 3. Take clamp (1) off hoses (2 and 3). Clean inside and outside of two tubes (2 and 3) with soapy water and dry with clean cloth. WARNING Dry cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near an open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when solvent is used. Use only in well-ventilated places. Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel and damage to equipment. CAUTION Do not let dry cleaning solvent touch two hoses (2 and 3). Hoses will dry out, rot, and need replacement. If dry cleaning solvent splashes on hoses, dry them with clean cloth. Clean clamp (1) and four tube nuts (4) with dry cleaning solvent. Use a stiff brush - to take off sludge or gum deposits. - Dry with clean cloth. END OF TASK 4-351
