TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 (3) Inspection and repair. FRAME 1 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Check that brackets (1 and 2) have no damage. Repair minor damage by straightening or welding. Refer to FM 43-2 and TM 9-237. If brackets have major damage, get new ones. Check that two fuel filter bodies (3) have no dents and cracks. If filter bodies are cracked or dented, get new ones. Check two fuel filter bodies (3), two covers (4), four elbows (5), two drain cocks (6), two bleeder valves (7), and two cover screws (8) for damaged threads. Repair internal threads with tap and repair external threads with file. If parts have damage which cannot be repaired with tap or file, get new ones. Using wire, check that two drain cocks (6) have open fuel passage. If drain cock cannot be cleaned with wire, get a new one. Check that two retainers (9) and two springs (10) have no damage. If damaged, get new retainers or springs. END OF TASK 4-342
