TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 4-24. CRANKCASE BREATHER TUBE ADAPTER. a. Cleaning There are no special cleaning procedures needed. Refer to cleaning procedures given in para 4-3. b. Inspection and Repair. FRAME 1 1. Check that crankcase breather tube adapter (1) is not cracked, bent, dented or damaged in any other way. If crankcase breather tube adapter is damaged in any way, get a new part. WARNING Dry cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near an open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when sol- vent is used. Use only in well-ventilated places. Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel and damage to equipment. 2. Check that crankcase breather tube adapter (1) has no minor nicks, scratches or burrs. To take out minor nicks, scratches or burrs, use a fine mill file or crocus cloth dipped in dry cleaning solvent. END OF TASK 4-278
