TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 3 1. Check that six valve spring retainers (1) are not worn, chipped or cracked. Throw away worn, chipped or cracked valve spring retainers and get new ones. 2. Check that six pairs of valve spring retainer locks (2) are not chipped or cracked and do not have ridges worn on top. Throw away worn or damaged valve spring retainer locks and get new ones.
