If readings are not within given limits, throw away part and get a new one. Measure free length of piston cooling relief valve plunger spring (1). Using spring tester, measure load needed to squeeze spring (1) down to 1.380 inches. Using spring tester, measure solid height of spring (1). Measure outside diameter of two plungers (2). Measure inside diameter of two plunger bores (3). Measure fit of two plungers (2) in plunger bores (3). END OF TASK NOTE: CHECK ONLY THOSE PARTS WHICH ARE CALLED OUT IN THIS FRAME.
