TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 9 1. Check if pump (1) uses a threaded cap (2) to hold in relief valve spring (3) and plunger (4). If pump uses a threaded cap (2), this is early model pump. 2. Check if pump (1) uses a retaining pin (5) and one of two types of spring retainer (6) to hold in pressure relief valve spring (3) and plunger (4). If pump uses retaining pin and spring retainer, this is late model pump. IF WORKING ON EARLY MODEL PUMP, GO TO FRAME 10. IF WORKING ON LATE MODEL PUMP, GO TO FRAME 11 4-166
