TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 b. Cleaning. There are no special cleaning procedures needed. Refer to cleaning procedures given in para 4-3. c. Inspection and Repair. FRAME 1 1. Check that 30 screws (1) are not stripped or damaged in any other way. If any screw is damaged, get a new one. Check that 30 lockwashers (2) are not chipped, cracked, or bent. If any lockwasher is damaged, get a new one. 2. Check that two drain plugs (3) are not stripped or damaged in any other way. Fix minor thread damage with a thread chaser. If more repair is needed, get a new drain plug. 3. If working on engine LDS-465-1, check that drain plug (4) or fuel injection pump oil drain elbow (5) are not stripped or damaged in any other way. Fix minor thread damage with a thread chaser. If more repairs are needed, get a new part. GO TO FRAME 2 4-148
