TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 3 1. 2. 3. 4. Check that connecting rod bearing halves (1) are not nicked, cracked, scored or showing signs of burns. If bearing halves are damaged in any way, get new ones. Check that connecting rods (2), caps (3), and bolts (4) are not damaged in any way. Fix minor damage to connecting rod and cap with a fine mill file and fix minor thread damage to bolts with a thread chaser. If more repair is needed for any part, get a new one. Check that pin springs (5) are not damaged in any way. If any pin spring is damaged, get a new one. Check that piston pin bearings (6) are not damaged in any way. If any piston pin bearing is damaged, get a new one. END OF TASK 4-133
