TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 8 1. 2. 3. 4. CAUTION An oil transfer liner (1) is found in crankcase web (2). It is there to pipe oil through crankcase web into main oil gallery in crankcase (3). Do not take out this oil transfer liner. Check that rear camshaft bearing (4), rear intermediate camshaft bearing (5), front intermediate camshaft bearing (6), and front camshaft bearing (7) are not pitted or worn or discolored from overheating. If any camshaft bearing (4, 5, 6, or 7) is pitted or worn or discolored from overheating, take them all out using camshaft bushing remover and replacer kit. Then go to frame 10. Check that rear camshaft bearing (4), rear intermediate camshaft bearing (5), front intermediate camshaft bearing (6), and front camshaft bearing (7) have no nicks, burrs or cracks. If any camshaft bearing (4, 5, 6, or 7) has nicks, burrs or cracks, take them all out using camshaft bushing remover and replacer kit. Then go to frame 10. GO TO FRAME 9 4-111
