TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 2 1. Check that woodruff key (1) is not bent, cracked or chipped. If woodruff key is bent, cracked or chipped, throw it away and get a new one. WARNING Dry cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near an open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when solvent is used. Use only in well-ventilated places. Failure to do this may result. in injury to personnel and damage to equipment. 2. Check that woodruff key (1) has no small nicks, scratches or burrs. Fix small nicks, scratches, or burrs with a fine mill file or crocus cloth dipped in dry cleaning solvent. 3. Check that woodruff key (1) fits snugly in keyway (2). If it does not, throw it away and get a new one. 4. If woodruff key (1) was changed, check that new woodruff key fits snugly in keyway (2). If it does not, throw away camshaft (3) and get a new one. 5. Check that keyway (2) is not badly damaged. If it is, throw away camshaft (3) and get a new one. GO TO FRAME 3 4-105
