TM 9-2520-246-34-1 FRAME 8 1. Push output shaft (1) back away from dial indicator and set dial to 0. 2. Pull output shaft (1) forward against dial indicator and note dial reading. 3. If reading in step 2 is 0.002 to 0.006-inch, take off dial indicator and go to frame 10. 4. If reading in step 2 is more than 0.006-inch, go to frame 9. 5. If reading in step 2 is less than 0.002-inch, do the following: a. Disassemble transmission transfer power takeoff. Refer to para 2-33, frame 5. b. Seat bearing cup and assemble transmission transfer power takeoff. Refer to para 2-38, frame 5. GO TO FRAME 9 2-371
