Check that front output shaft splines (2) are not chipped, cracked or twisted. 3. Check that shaft (3) is not chipped or cracked. 4. Check that sliding clutch (4) is not chipped or cracked and that internal splines are not twisted or burred. 5. Check that threads (5) are not stripped or crossthreaded. END OF TASK 2-166
