Put back two capscrews (1) into two threaded puller screw holes in flange of output shaft case (3). Tighten two capscrews (1) evenly until front output shaft case (3) lifts off transfer case cover (4). Take NOTE When front output shaft case (3) is taken off transfer case cover (4), shifter shaft spring (5) will fall off end of shifter shaft assembly (6). off front output shaft case (3) with shifter shaft assembly (6) and take off and throw away gasket (7).
