Key Item and Function 11 Hi-lo switch controls the rate of fuel burning and speed of blower in person- nel heater. 12 Red indicator light illuminates when personnel heater is operating. 13 Start-off-run switch is positioned down to start personnel heater, up to run heater, and in center position to stop heater. 14 Air control knob is pulled all the way out for maximum air flow, and pushed in to lower or shut off air flow. 15 Defroster control knob is pulled all the way out for maximum defroster oper- ation, pushed in for maximum heater operation, and placed halfway out for combination defroster/heater operation. 16 Hi-lo switch controls the rate of fuel burning and speed of blower in power plant (engine) heater. 17 Red indicator light illuminates when power plant heater is operating. 18 Start-off-run switch is positioned down to start power plant (engine) heater, up to run heater, and in center position to stop heater. 2-4.
