Injury or death to personnel may result. • Accidental or intentional introduction of liquid contaminants into the environment is a violation of state, federal, and military regulations. Refer to Army POL (WP 0001 00) for information concerning storage, use, and disposal of these liquids. Failure to do so may result in damage to environment and health of personnel. NOTE Use a drain pan to capture any draining fuel. Dispose of fluids in accordance with local policy and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up. REMOVAL 1. Remove two nuts (6), screws (3), and coupling (4) from tube (8) and filter separator (2). 2. Remove two locknuts (10), screws (7), tube (8), and gaskets (9) and (5) from meter (1) and filter separator (2). Discard locknuts (10) and gaskets (9) and (5). INSTALLATION 1. Install new gasket (9), tube (8), and new gasket (5) on filter separator (2) and meter (1) with two screws (7) and new locknuts (10). Do not tighten locknuts (10). 2. Install coupling (4) on filter separator (2) and gasket (5) with two screws (3) and nuts (6). Tighten locknuts (10). 3. Connect battery ground cable (WP 0126 00). 4.
