TM 9-2320-361-24-1 0064 00 0064 00-5 SECONDARY AND FINAL FUEL FILTERS TESTING AND MAINTENANCE (Contd) INSTALLATION Fuel Filters NOTE Secondary and final fuel filters are installed the same way. This procedure covers the secondary fuel filter. 1. Install drain valve (19) on secondary fuel filter housing (18). 2. Install spring (16), new washer (15), new gasket (14), and cup (13) on center post (12). 3. Install new cotter pin (17) in center post (12). 4. Install new filter element (20) on secondary fuel filter housing (18). 5. Install secondary fuel filter housing (18) and new gasket (21) on fuel filter head (2) with new gasket (22), new washer (23), and sleeve nut (10). Tighten sleeve nut (10) 15 lb-ft (20.3 N•m).
