CHARGING CIRCUIT TESTS (Contd) NG50 TK MODE • Proceed to step 9. 9 NO YES • Stop engine. • Turn off lights and accessories. • Is voltage regulator built into alternator? NO YES CHECK IGNITION VOLTAGE OUTPUT: • Disconnect positive wire from alternator. • Connect black clip lead of W2 to ground. • Connect red clip lead to positive terminal on alternator. • Turn accessory switch on. • Is reading on display near battery voltage? 8 • Proceed to step 9. Replace alternator (WP 0085 00). NOTE After completing repair, rerun GO Chain tests (WP 0017 00) to verify that problem is fixed and no other problems exist.
