MAXIMUM GOVERNOR SPEED 2850 RPM • Press further on accelerator to full throttle. • Does engine RPM remain below maximum at full throttle? • Proceed to step 2. CHECK GOVERNOR OPERATION • Watch the VTM display. • Increase engine speed to maximum governor speed shown below. 1 GOVERNOR CHECK/POWER TEST G07 TK MODE • Is engine RPM greater than upper limit? • Adjust throttle control linkage (WP 0070 00). • Engine RPM is below lower limit. • Proceed to Governor/Power Test Fault Isolation, Test NG 90 (WP 0018 00). NO YES NOTE Test GO1, VTM Connections and Checkout, must be performed before running any other STE/ICE-R test.
