ENGINE START—LUBRICATION CHECK G04 TK MODE NOTE Test GO1, VTM Connections and Checkout, must be performed before running any other STE/ICE-R test. CAUTION Check oil level before starting engine. • Turn off master switch. • Proceed to No Crank-No Start Test, NG 20. • Does engine crank? • Proceed to Engine Crank- No Start Test, NG 30. CAUTION Ensure all hydraulic power switches are off. Disengage manual hydraulic levers if vehicle is so equipped. Damage could result to vehicle. CHECK ALL FLUID LEVELS: • Check oil level. Add oil if necessary. • Remove radiator cap and check coolant level. Add coolant if necessary. • Check battery electrolyte level. Add distilled water if necessary. 1 START ENGINE • Try to start engine. • Does engine crank and start? 2 CHECK OIL PRESSURE GAUGE • Check oil pressure gauge for minimum oil pressure noted in the table on page 12 of this WP. 3 NO YES NO YES WARNING Do not remove radiator cap when engine is hot.
