VTM CONNECTIONS AND CHECKOUT (Contd) G01 TK MODE ENTER VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VID) • Dial 60 into TEST SELECT switches and press TEST. • Wait for prompting message UEH to appear. • When UEH appears, dial vehicle identification number 02 into the TEST SELECT switches. 4 PASS PROMPT UEH PROMPT • Repeat step 3. • Does VTM display PASS? NO YES • STE/ICE-R is bad. Replace. • Proceed to next page. NO YES • Is vehicle being tested listed in table under step 4? NOTE The VTM can fail Confidence Test if a bad transducer is connected to it. If VTM fails the Confidence Test when powered by W5 (TK power cable), disconnect all cables from J2, J3 and J4 and try again. If it passes, one of the transducers is bad. If it fails, the VTM has failed internally. NO YES • Does VTM display PASS?
