TM 9-2320-361-24-1 0013 00 0013 00-5 LIGHTING AND WIPER SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING (Contd) MALFUNCTION TEST OR INSPECTION CORRECTIVE ACTION 2. PARK LAMP DOES NOT LIGHT Test 1. Test battery voltage at front composite light. 1. Place auxiliary light switch lever in OFF position. 2. Disconnect lead 491 at rear of front composite light. 3. Turn auxiliary light switch to PARK position. 4. Check for battery voltage on contact end of lead 491. Test 2. Test continuity of filament in park lamp. Set multimeter to RX 1 scale. Check continuity between frame ground and lead 491 connected to front composite light. 1. If battery voltage is present, go to test 2. 2. If battery voltage is not present, go to WP 0013 00, table 1, malfunction 1, test 3, and test lighting system harness connector, pin L. 1. If continuity is not present, replace park lamp (WP 0122 00). 2. If continuity is present, check for corroded contacts at lamp and lead 491 connections to front wiring harness. Reconnect lead 491.
