With engine stop control handle pulled out, crank engine for 30 seconds (TM 9-2320-361-10). Voltage reading should be 19 VDC or more during cranking. 4. Disengage engine stop control handle (TM 9-2320-361-10). 1. If battery voltage is not satisfactory, go to WP 0012 00, table 1, malfunction 1, test 1. 2. If battery voltage is satisfactory, replace starter motor and solenoid assembly (WP 0088 00). If engine still cranks slowly, replace batteries (WP 0127 00).
