Rear winch is used with A-frame to position, assemble, and install pipe. A-frame can be used at rear or either side of vehicle. Major components of the rear winch and pipeline systems are: REAR WINCH - Reels in or pays out winch cable for pipe installation operations. TRANSFER CASE POWER TAKEOFF - Receives power from vehicle engine through the transfer case to provide power directly to rear winch. WINCH DRIVE CHAIN - Transfers power from PTO to winch. A-FRAME - Provides different routing positions for winch cable. WINCH CABLE - Used to hoist, move, and install pipe. 1-72
