Installation INITIAL SETUP: APPLICABLE MODELS REFERENCES (TM) M49A2C TM 9-2320-361-10 MATERIALS/PARTS TM 9-2320-361-20P Four lockwashers EQUIPMENT CONDITION Four locknuts Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-361-10). Two gaskets GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Keep fire extinguisher nearby when working on fuel tank trucks. Do not perform this procedure while smoking or within 50 feet of sparks or open flame. Fuel is flammable and can explode easily, causing injury or death to personnel and damage to equipment. NOTE Have drainage container ready to catch fuel. 1. Loosen two clamps (6) on hose (5). 2. Remove four locknuts (11), screws (7), elbow (8), and gasket (9) from discharge manifold (10). Discard locknuts (11) and gasket (9). 3. Remove two clamps (6) and hose (5) from inlet tube (2) and elbow (8). 4. Remove four screws (4), lockwashers (3), inlet tube (2), and gasket (1) from delivery pump (12). Discard lockwashers (3) and gasket (1). b. Installation 1. Install new gasket (1) and inlet tube (2) on delivery pump (12) with four screws (4) and new lockwashers (3). 2. 3. Install hose (5) and two clamps (6) on inlet tube (2) and elbow (8). Do not tighten clamps (6). Install new gasket (9) and elbow (8) on discharge manifold (10) with four screws (7) and new locknuts (11). Tighten clamps (6). 12-52
