Six locknuts (M49A2C, M56A3) Eight locknuts (M109A3, M185A3, M50A2) Four locknuts (M275A2, M342A2) NOTE Perform steps 1 through 4 for M35A2 and M35A2C vehicles. 1. Remove two locknuts (6) and screws (10) from support (9) and front splash shield (7). Discard locknuts (6). 2. Remove two locknuts (11), screws (13), and bracket (12) from two supports (1). Discard locknuts (11). 3. Remove two locknuts (5), screws (8), and support (9) from bracket (12). Discard locknuts (5). 4.
