Major components of the accelerator controls system are: ENGINE STOP CONTROL - Cuts off fuel supply to engine when pulled. HAND THROTTLE CONTROL - Sets engine speed at desired rpm without operator maintaining pressure on accelerator pedal. ACCELERATOR PEDAL - Controls engine speed.
