(6) Place outrigger control levers (1) and (2) in UP position to raise outrigger legs (4), pull safety latches (7) out and up, then place control levers (1) and (2) in DOWN position to lower legs (4) about halfway. (7) Remove outrigger shoes (6) from stowage brackets (3) and install them on outrigger legs (4) with retaining pins (5). (8) Lower outrigger legs (4) to ground to stabilize machine. (9) Place transmission gearshift lever (8) in “N” (neutral) position. c. Raising, Leveling, and Lowering Derrick Tube. WARNING Avoid any contact with high voltage power lines by the derrick or vehicle. If the derrick or vehicle does come in contact with a high voltage power line, the vehicle will become electrically charged. Do not contact any item that is not on the vehicle and grounded or attempt to leave the vehicle. Failure to do this may result in injury or death to personnel.
