Rusty or broken wires can cause serious injury to personnel. NOTE Test rear winch mounted on the truck. To operate winch, refer to TM 9-2320-209-10. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Pull out drum lock knob (1) and turn it 90° to the unlocked position. Put drum clutch lever (2) toward center of truck. Pull on cable (3) and then stop pulling. Check that winch drum stops turning. If winch keeps turning, turn adjusting screw (4). Do steps 3 and 4 until winch drum stops turning when cable (3) GO TO FRAME 2 is no longer pulled. 18-68
