Check that drum lock poppet (1) and drum lock poppet knob (2) have no cracks or other damage. If parts are damaged, get new ones. Measure free length of drum lock poppet spring (3). Measure length of spring when under load of 17.3 pounds. Check that clutch shifter fork shaft (4) and clutch control lever (5) have no cracks or other damage. If parts are damaged, get new ones. Check that clutch control lever ball (6) and clutch control lever ball spring (7) are not grooved, cracked or damaged. If parts are damaged, get new ones. Measure free length of clutch control lever ball spring (7). Measure length of ball spring when under a load of 45 pounds. Check that end frame (8) and rear channel (9) are not cracked or damaged.
