TM 9-2320-209-34-2-3 FRAME 6 Soldier A 1. Turn on power to rear winch. Turn locking latch (1) to the unlocked position. Push control lever (2) forward and put on locking latch. WARNING Do not let go of winch clutch with from cable. Weight could fall and and equipment damage. a weight suspended cause personnel injury 2. Operate rear winch to lift weight. 3. With weight suspended off ground. Shut down power. 4. Check that automatic brake (3) holds weight (4) on cable (5) for creeping. 5. If winch causes weight (4) to creep, lower weight to ground. Check pressure plate clearance and adjust automatic brake. Refer to para 18-5f, frame 11. END OF TASK 18-153
