Put a 1,000-pound Push control lever (2) forward and put on weight (3) on end of cable (4). WARNING Do not let go of winch clutch with a weight suspended from cable. Weight could fall and cause personnel injury and equipment damage. 3. Operate rear winch to lift weight. 4. Check that there is no contact between automatic brake pressure plate (5) and brake lining plate (6). 5. If contact is made, lower weight to the ground and shut down power.
