TM 9-2320-209-34-2-2 FRAME 5 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Finger tighten adjusting bearing (1) against gear shaft (2). CAUTION Be sure end of key clears thrust washer. It must not stop worm adjusting bearing. Damage to equipment may result if needed clearance is not set up. Check clearance of key by turning shaft (2) by hand. Shaft must turn freely. Put bearing sleeve (3) on shaft (2). Push bearing sleeve down until slot on outside of bearing sleeve alines with hole for rear capscrew (4). Put two capscrews (4) with lockwashers (5) and lockscrews (6) into housing (7), but do not tighten lockscrews. Put in two lubrication fittings (8). END OF TASK 17-626
