Take off roller bearing core (2), rack feed idler gear (3), and roller bearing cone (4). If dial indicator reading noted in frame 8 is less than .006-inch, take off one shim (5). If dial indicator reading noted in frame 8 is more than .035-inch, put on one shim (5). Put on roller bearing cone (4), rack feed idler gear (3), and roller bearing cone (2). Using spanner wrench, put on bearing adjusting nut (1). Do frame 8 again. GO TO FRAME 8 17-512
