Turn screws (4) evenly until bearing cage (5) is free of carrier case (6). Take off shims (7). Using micrometer, measure thickness of shims (7). If reading in frame 13 was more than limits given, use a thicker shim (7) or add a shim. If preload reading was less than limits given, use a thinner shim (7) or take — away a shim.
