Spec P-D-680 automotive grease, type GAA, MIL-G-10924 Truck parked, engine off, handbrake set. a. Preliminary Procedure. Remove front axle shaft assembly. Refer to TM 9-2320-209-20. b. Disassemble. NOTE If working on ball-type universal joint, do step 1. If working on center cross-type universal joint, go to frame 4. 1. Drive universal joint grease pin (1) out of yoke (2) on outer shaft (3).
