TM 9-2320-209-20-3-3 i. Assembly of Rack and Seat Assembly. 1. Put seat assembly (1) into rack assembly (2) so that hinge parts (3) join together. Seat will be like it is folded up in truck. 2. Put clevis pin (4) through hinge parts (3) in five places. Put cotter pin (5) through hole in clevis pin. Using pliers, spread open ends of cotter pin. 3. Using 1/2-inch socket wrench with extension, tighten 20 nuts (6). 4. Using 1/2-inch wrench, tighten 16 nuts (7). NOTE Follow-on Maintenance Action Required: Replace rack and seat assembly in truck.
