TM 9-2320-209-20-3-3 b. Repair. FRAME 1 1. 2. 3. 4. Check cork gasket (1) for cracks, cuts, missing pieces or wear. If cork gasket (1) is damaged, use scraper to scrape it off manhole cover (2). Check manhole cover (2) for dents, cracks, holes or other damage. If manhole cover is damaged, get a new one in its place. WARNING Dry cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near an open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when solvent is used. Use only in well-ventilated places. Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel and damage to equipment. Using solvent, clean all old gasket cement off rim (3) of manhole cover (2). END OF TASK 18-353
