REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT - Continued NOTE Install valve seat in cylinder head while head is still hot and valve seat is at room temperature or when valve seat is chilled with liquid nitrogen and cylinder head is at room temperature. (5) Place cylinder head on bench with fire deck up. Place valve seat (Figure 11, Item 70) in counterbore with tapered face up. (6) Using valve seat installing tool (Figure 11, Item 73), drive valve seat in place until it seats solidly in cylinder head.
