TM 9-2520-272-40 0008 3. Remove seven 5/16-18 x 2-3/4 inch bolts (Figure 2, Item 5) and washers (Figure 2, item 6) that attach main control valve assembly (Figure 2, Item 3) to transmission. 4. Remove three 5/16-18 x 3 inch bolts (Figure 2, Item 8) and washers (f gure 2, Item 6) that attach main control valve assembly (Figure 2, Item 3) to transmission. 5. Remove four 5/16-18 x 3-1/4 inch bolts (Figure 2, Item 7) and washers (f gure 2, Item 6) that attach main control valve assembly (Figure 2, Item 3) to transmission. 6. Remove main control valve assembly (Figure 1, Item 3) from separator plate (Figure 2, Item 10) by pulling up and away from guide pins (Figure 2, Item 9). Figure 2.
