Remove clutch backing plate (Figure 4, Item 11) from the converter assembly using a pry bar. 10.Remove seal ring (Figure 4, Item 10) from clutch backing plate (Figure 4, Item 11). Check for sections that are missing or stretching out of shape. Discard seal ring (Figure 4, Item 10). 11. Remove retaining ring (Figure 4, Item 12) from turbine shaft (Figure 4, Item 13). Figure 4.
