TM 9-2350-277-20-6 INSTALL/REMOVE CHEMICAL AGENT AUTOMATIC ALARM KIT (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued 0918 00 NOTE Tag all leads before disassembling. 12. Remove C-clip retainers (1) and backshells (2) from four leads (3) on end of wiring harness (4). 13. From harness (4), remove coupling nut (5), spring tension washer (6), retainer (7), bushing (8), nut (9), lockwasher (10), flat washer (11), and insulator washer (12). 14. Remove and save for future use four screws (13), cover plate (14), and gasket (15). 15. Insert harness (4) through hole in carrier top plate. Have helper assist. 16. On harness (4), re-install insulator washer (12), flat washer (11), lockwasher (10), nut (9), bushing (8), retainer (7), spring tension washer (6) and coupling nut (5). 17. Re-install backshells (2) and C-clip retainers (1) on four leads (3) of harness (4). NOTE Four replacement screws are shorter than screws removed with cover plate. 18. Install four replacement screws (13) in four holes exposed on carrier top plate. 19. Attach wiring harness (16) to bracket (17) with four screws (18) and locknuts (19). 20. Connect harness (4) leads (3) to harness (16) leads (20) as follows: 509E to 509G 509F to 509H 6D POS to 6E POS 7D NEG to 7E NEG 0918 00-4
