TM 9-2350-277-20-6 REPLACE NBC AIR PURIFIER AND FRAME (M58 ONLY) — Continued 0914 00 INSTALLATION NOTE Apply corrosion preventive compound to all threaded fasteners. 1. Install four mounts (1) on box beam (2). Install ground wire (3) and frame (4) on mounts (1). Align holes on frame (4) with mounts (1) and secure with four washers (5) and screws (6). 2. Install air purifier (7) in frame (4). Secure with latch (8). 3. Install cable assembly (9) on air purifier (7). 4. Loosen screw (10) on right angle connector (11) on cable assembly (9). Slide slotted end of ground wire (3) under screw (10). Tighten screw. 5. Remove dust cover caps (13) and install three quick disconnects (12) on adapters (14) on air purifier (7). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS NOTE Precleaner must be adjusted to provide air at a flow rate of 3.0-4.5 cubic feet per minute (cfm) to all user outlets. 1. Adjust air purifier TM 3-6680-316-10.
