TM 9-2350-277-20-6 REPLACE EXTERNAL CABLE TUBE — Continued 0905 00 REMOVAL NOTE M58 vehicle has two fixed fire extinguishers. For M113A3, slide spall liner to access engine compartment fire extinguisher. 1. Loosen nut (1) on control valve adapter (2). WARNING You could be injured by discharging cylinder if dropped or mounting bracket is not in place. Discharge cylinder completely before removing from mount. 2. Loosen captive nut (3) on control valve (4). Remove valve from fire extinguisher cylinder (5). 3. Remove adapter (2) from control valve (4). Discard adapter. 4. Cut sleeve (6) and nut (1) from tube (7). Discard sleeve and nut. 0905 00-2 Change 1
