TM 9-2350-277-20-6 REPLACE STE/ICE SHUNT (M577A3 AND M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued 0871 00 REMOVAL WARNING Battery posts and cables touched by metal objects can short circuit and burn you. Use caution when you work with tools or other metal objects. Do not wear jewelry when you work on electrical system. 1. Remove screw (1), lockwasher (2), and battery ground lead (3) from shunt (4). Discard lockwasher. 2. Remove screw (5), lockwasher (6), and battery lead (7) from shunt (4). Tape battery lead. Discard lockwasher. 3. Remove screw (8), lockwasher (9), and lead 770 (10) from shunt (4). Discard lockwasher. 4. Remove screw (11), lockwasher (12), washer (13), and lead 781 (14) from shunt (4). Discard lockwasher. 5. Remove screw (15), lockwasher (16), washer (17), and lead 780 (18) from shunt (4). Discard lockwasher. 0871 00-2 Change 1
