TM 9-2350-277-20-6 REPLACE AN/VAS-5 DRIVER’S NIGHT VISION ENHANCER SENSOR SET ASSEMBLY ADAPTER (DVE) (M58 ONLY) — Continued 0866 05 INSTALLATION 1. Install tapered end of two pins (2) in front adapter half (3). 2. Install two pins (6) and (9) in front adapter half(3) and back adapter half (7). 3. Install front adapter half (3) and back adapter half(7) on sensor assembly (5). Secure with two existing screws (8). Tighten two screws to 86-94 lb-in (10-11 Nm) torque. 4. Apply technical petrolatum to bore of adapter and install two new bosses (4). 5. Install two new pads (1) into grooves around adapter . END OF TASK 0866 05-2 Change 1
