TM 9-2350-277-20-6 REPAIR CABLE ASSEMBLY (W4/W6) (M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued 0841 00 ASSEMBLY NOTE The W4 cable assembly has two negative (-) terminals and two positive (+) terminals. The W6 cable assembly has two negative (-) terminals and one positive (+) terminal and a positive (+) bare end wire. Position the terminals on the cables as shown. 1. Install terminals (9) on cables (6) (WP 0382 00). 2. Strip 1 inch to 1 inches (2.54 cm to 3.81 cm) of insulation from one end of positive cable of assembly W6. NOTE Observe cable polarity when securing cables to connectors. The terminal on the positive (+) (longer) cable connects to the center post of connector on the W4 and the W6 cable assembly. 3. Insert each cable (6) into adapter (5) on connector (4). Secure to connector with two screws (7) and washers (8). Tighten two adapters (5). 4. Secure cover (3) on connector (4) with six screws (1) and washers (2). END OF TASK 0841 00-2
