INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Strap (as required) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery ground strap disconnected (WP 0337 00) REMOVAL 1. Cut tie straps (1) that hold NBC wiring harness (2) to adjacent cables. Discard tie straps. 2. Remove screw (3), washers (4), and ground lead (5) from regulator bracket (6). 3. Disconnect wiring harness (2) from NBC control box (7). 4. Loosen screw (8) on mount (9) and remove ground lead (10). 5. Remove lead 538A (11) with ground lead (10) from air purifier (12). 0806 00-1
